It Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect to be Beautiful

I love peeking into other people’s homes and seeing what’s inside, especially at Christmas time!  So I’m joining the online tour of homes hosted by The Nesting Place, and I’m taking full advantage of the theme: It Doesn’t Have to be Perfect to be Beautiful!  (This applies to my decorating as well as to the terrible quality of some of these photos, which I took in the glaring light of afternoon nap time.)

Merry Christmas to you all, friends!

These days Jem is a menace to everything that is tidy and beautiful. Hence, the Christmas tree barricade (and the couch smooshed up against the bookshelf, for that matter!)

Abby was offended that Sam’s “stocking” was on the tree and not hanging on the mantel with the rest of the family!

We took a week off from our Jesse Tree project as we celebrated an early Christmas and my sister’s wedding, but I’m planning to make up the days in the Twelve Days of Christmas!

I’m taking advantage of what is probably my last opportunity for non-sneaky present-hiding!
